Rogue Ales & Spirits | Côtes Du Rogue

Can't wait to try this new sour blonde ale from one of America's best breweries!

"Sit down with Rogue Innovation Brewer Danny Connors and hear about how we developed one of our newest brews, Côtes Du Rogue Sour Blonde Ale.

Several years ago we caught a wild yeast strain from the open air of the Yaquina Bay. We cultivated the strain, along with 5 common varieties in 16 barrels, selecting and blending the best of them to form our house mixed culture. With this unique culture we've created a series of limited, foeder aged, sour beers to get your taste buds tingling. This sour blonde is tart, with hints of oak, lemon, vanilla, and apricot."

Outta Line IPA | Penguin Bungee Jump

Rogue Ales & Spirits -We sent a group of brave Rogue Employees dressed in their finest penguin suits to step outside their comfort zones and plummet off America's tallest bungee jump bridge. These are the results. Do you have the courage to step outta line?

At the very core of Rogue is the idea of getting outta line. That is to say you don’t need to follow the plan laid out in front of you, you don’t have to fit in and you don’t have to follow the crowd. We brewed this IPA as a reminder that there is no limit when you have the courage to stand out. Available year round, Outta Line IPA is a bright honey-colored West Coast IPA with an enticing fruit aroma.

Rogue Ales & Spirits | Combat Wombat

Behold the power of the Wombat.

Rogue Ales & Spirits: Dedicated to our friends down under, Combat Wombat is a fusion of hazy, sour and fruity all tied together with a healthy dose of Australian hops.

Oozing aromas of citrus and tropical fruit, Combat Wombat glows a vivid gold. Notes of tart grapefruit and sweet blood orange battle in a barrage of flavor with a fruity hop profile, but reconcile peacefully in a tangy finish.

Bring out your Dead Guy!

Well here's an idea I fully support! Check it out when Rogue took to the streets of Portland, Oregon to hand our free samples of Dead Guy Ale in cans. I love the new can design, for the record, but the best part of this is the freakin' sweet hearse! I so want to drive this and pass out cans from a coffin. Bucket list updated.

Iconic Rogue Dead Guy Gets Facelift

Keep swimming or you'll drown. That's gotta be the mantra of all the OG breweries out there, and some of them are certainly trying to always keep things fresh. One of my original craft beer loves, Rogue Dead Guy, even recently got a bit of a face life and also is being canned now. I love it. Love the cans. Love THESE cans. The beer itself is just as good as it ever was so of course. Check it out...

From Rogue

"We are proud to showcase our brand new, state of the art canning line from the wonderful peeps at Wild Goose Canning in Boulder, Colorado. Watch it in action as we can our Dead Guy Ale."

"After 25 years of dedication, our iconic Dead Guy Ale has a new look. Same Maibock-inspired Ale, fresh new packaging. Also now available in 6pk cans."

Patch to Batch, Rogue Pumpkin Patch Ale

Judging from all the whining and moaning on the internet, I realize a lot of people don't care for pumpkin spice beers. Personally I think it's a fun fall tradition and enjoy a lot of the creativity that comes with them. One of my favorites is Rogue's Pumpkin Patch Ale, which I look forward to every year.

Rogue Ales & Spirits: "Pumpkin Patch Ale is finally here and it is worth the wait. We patiently grew and harvested our own pumpkins at Rogue Farms in Independence, Oregon. This pumpkin beer is made with real pumpkins that we roasted ourselves at the brewery in Newport, Oregon. Crafted patch to batch. Try it for yourself."

Video: Rogue Farms Honey Harvest

It almost feels like that with all the great and exciting new breweries coming into the area, some of our already great breweries that have been around for years get lost in the shuffle. Personally I love what Rogue Ales out in Asheland, OR is doing with their whole Rogue Farms series and am always on the lookout for new beer from them. They're not exactly new, they've been around since 1988, and they've been in Arkansas since I started getting into craft beer way back in the day, but they're still doing great beers and exciting new stuff.

Check out this video about their Rogue Farms Honey Harvest, a key ingredient in a lot of their recent releases.

"The beekeeper at Rogue Farms carefully harvests honey to used as ingredients in Rogue's lagers, stouts and ales brewed by brewmaster John Maier. We grow bees."
